Iraq War Stories
Second Chance Publishing would like to invite any soldiers who want to tell their stories about their time in Iraq to submit their request to us. We are looking for stories that include details of the political, religious, and secular climates in Iraq, as well as information about your personal experiences in Iraq and about the ongoing effects of the war since you have returned home.
Submission Guidelines
You can submit your query via e-mail to submissions or send it to the address show below.
When responding by e-mail, please be aware that we accept only Microsoft Word attachments.
Please include the following:
A query letter that contains the book title, genre, an author bio, manuscript word count, and whether the book is complete.
A short synopsis (one or two-pages) that includes all plot twists, as well as the ending, so that we can see how all conflicts are resolved in the book.
The first three chapters of your manuscript.
